Vice Principal
I am so excited to be starting my 22nd year in education and third full year here in Stafford. After graduating from William Paterson University in 2000, I began working in Television Production in New York City. In 2003, I realized my true calling and began my educational career in Hawthorne where I was an aide in a preschool autism class. The following year I taught 5th grade and later moved to 4th grade. In 2008 I got married and moved back to Ocean County, the place I consider home. I commuted to Hawthorne for a year before accepting a 5th grade teaching position in Toms River. In August of 2012, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Education from The University of Scranton. In April of 2022, after 13 years in Toms River, I accepted a Supervisor Position here in Stafford. I have been married for 16 years and have three children, a first grader, a third grader, and a seventh grader. My professional as well as personal life experience have given me a valuable perspective in working with this age group. I look forward to a positive partnership between home and school to help all of our students grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I always welcome all questions, concerns, suggestions, or ideas. Feel free to contact me at Rmeyer@staffordschools.org or at 609-978-5700 extension 1134.
